THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Please be aware that the personal data we collect may include your name, address, email address, phone number, emergency contact details, and any details relevant to the services requested and provided (such as school or club name). We may also ask for your date of birth if the service required has age-related restrictions. For individuals under the age of 16, we will collect parental or guardian information. Additionally, we may collect information about ethnicity to monitor and ensure compliance with anti-discrimination policies or to fulfil obligations to Sport England, ECB, Chance to Shine, or Lords Taverners. Telephone conversations, emails, and written and verbal communications may also be recorded.

HOW YOUR INFORMATION WILL BE USED

  • Administration – Registration and general administration (including verification, vetting and
    security checking).
  • Delivery – To provide the goods and services you request from us and /or to ensure appropriate certificates/photographs are prepared/distributed at the end of the
    course(s)/event(s).
  • Communication – To communicate with you if any goods or services requested are unavailable or if there is a query or problem with your requests.
  • Information Sharing – so that we can provide information which may be of interest to you about services offered by WCF, ECB or our Cricket partners.
  • Records – for record-keeping purposes.
  • Market Research – to carry out market research so that we can improve the goods and services we offer.
  • Research – for research purposes and to enable us to understand requirements and develop
    cricket-related courses and other services.
  • Analysis – to track and analyse activity on our website/social media platforms.
  • To create an individual profile for you so that we can enhance your user experience, understand and respect your preferences and provide newsletters and details of any relevant offers and opportunities where you have agreed to receive them.
  • We do not sell, distribute or lease personal data to commercial organisations.

DISCLOSING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

To provide our products and services, we might sometimes engage other organisations to handle certain processing tasks on our behalf. These organisations could include technology hosts, printing companies, and mailing houses, for example. In such cases, we will make sure that personal information is adequately protected and used per our Privacy Policy. Some limited information may be shared with other stakeholders in Cricket, such as other Cricket Clubs, Constituent Bodies and League Organisers, so they can maintain appropriate records and assist us in administering and organising cricket fixtures.

CHILDREN

If you are under 16, you will need the permission of your parent or guarding before registering for any Worcestershire Cricket Foundation event (using CVENT) or Newsletter.

INFORMATION ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE

If you provide information about any person other than yourself, you must ensure that they understand how their information will be used and that you are authorised to disclose it to us, and to consent to its use on their behalf, before doing so and to consent to its use on their behalf, before doing so.

WORCESTERSHIRE CRICKET FOUNDATION COACHES USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Worcestershire Cricket Foundation coaches will be provided with contact details for each person who is booked for one of their events and the details of the attendee (if different). We only permit coaches to use this information to deal with the administration of the course or event and they are not permitted to use it for any other purpose.

EVENT PAYMENT INFORMATION

The payment card information you provide will only be available to the payment provider (currently Worldpay). This will not be available to Worcestershire Cricket Foundation or the ECB. In the event of a refund, due to cancellation, we will return the money to the original payment card, using Worldpay/ or by other appropriate measures e.g. cheque/BACS payment.

SECURITY

We are fully committed to protecting the rights and privacy of clients, suppliers, business contacts and employee’s information. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have suitable procedures in place to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

COOKIES

We only use traffic log cookies on our website. These are only used to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website to tailor it to customer needs. In no way does it give access to any information about you. Cookies are small encrypted text files that may be stored on your computer or other device by this website.
