Walking Cricket
Walking Cricket is a slower paced version of the game that we all love for men and women. It’s a game for everyone!
Why get involved?
Walking Cricket gives the opportunity for all people to play the game that is more accessible than other current formats.
As the name suggests, the game is played at walking pace. Walking Cricket delivers cricket skills to players of all ages and abilities. This format provides an exciting way to keep fit and active for those may not have played for a while, those whose injuries may have stopped them playing, or for completely new players to the game.
Sessions are low cost, usually last an hour and all equipment is provided.
Simply turn up in comfortable clothing, bring a bottle of water, and play.
Your first session is FREE so there’s really no reason not to give it a go!

I would recommend it to anyone!
I’ve been playing walking cricket for several years and have found it a really positive and enjoyable experience. The cricket festivals and their excellent organisation have been a highlight of the walking cricket year. The support and friendship of the other players and staff helped me tremendously during a difficult time following my diagnosis for prostrate cancer. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys sport to give it a try, you don’t have to be good at cricket or have even played it before just turn up and enjoy yourself
