Join us on the outfield at New Road for our Countdown Festival!
Matches follow the Countdown Cricket (aka Dynamos) format, albiet with slight changes to the team size and match length. The format is a fast-paced, accessible version and mirrors what is played at school competitions and Dynamos sessions. So it’s familiar across settings for new players picking up the game.Matches are 8-a-side, 40 balls and played with a soft windball, with teams playing a minimum of four games at the festival. For Mixed festivals, all ‘traditional’ club team players must be Under 9s (Year 4), whilst those players in a Dynamos programme or those who have only previously played Softball School Cricket can be up to Under 11s (Year 6).
