Worcestershire Cricket Foundation welcomed guests from the community for the annual Cricket Collective Awards on Thursday 13th November at Worcestershire County Cricket Club.
The Cricket Collective is an ECB initiative to recognise and reward volunteers who are essential to grassroots cricket. We were delighted to be joined by some special guests including Ian Martin MBE (Head of Disability Cricket at the ECB), Dan Such (University of Worcester) and the Jones family in honour of the late Bill Jones.
We were also proud to launch our 2026-2029 Strategy on the evening, which shows the overarching vision for cricket in Worcestershire over the next four years.
It was heartwarming as we gathered to celebrate the incredible contributions of our volunteers, players and supporters. The heart and soul of our clubs, whose selflessness, dedication, and passion make such a profound impact on cricket in Worcestershire. Each of them plays a vital role in making our mission a reality.
Their efforts go beyond the hours they spend, beyond the tasks they complete, and they embody the spirit of generosity and compassion that inspires others to do the same. And for that, we are truly grateful.
Whilst the Cricket Collective Awards are nationally recognised by the ECB, we were also able to award our own Worcestershire Cricket Foundation Community Awards during the ceremony.
