An action-packed six-weeks lies ahead, with camps at Hagley CC, Old Elizabethans CC, Ombersley CC, Martley CC & New Road.
This summer all camps will have a theme that’s relevant to what’s going on in the wider world of cricket at the time. The skills and games at every camp will reflect the theme. Find out more about every camp in the write-up below.

Worcestershire Cricket Foundation – Summer Cricket Camps 2025
Week One – Hagley CC (Monday 21st July – Friday 25th July)
- Theme: The Hundred – Gearing up for the start of this year’s edition of The Hundred, this camp will involve working on skills such as Power-Hitting, 360-degree Batting, Bowling Variations and Boundary Catching as well as plenty of matches. There will also be The Hundred merchandise for participants and match tickets available to win as prizes!

Week Two – Old Elizabethans CC (Monday 28th July – Friday 1st August)
- Theme: Test Cricket – The ongoing England v India Test Series will reach its conclusion at the end of the Fifth Test Match, which gets underway on the Thursday. Participants on this camp will work on skills such as playing spin and bouncers, slip / close catching and getting the ball to swing/spin as a bowler.

Week Three – Ombersley CC (Monday 4th August – Thursday 7th August)
- Theme: Metro Bank One-Day Cup – Worcestershire Rapids’ One-Day Cup campaign gets underway on Thursday, so participants will be looking at White-Ball skills such as Strike Rotation when Batting, Bowling Yorkers and saving runs in the field.

Week Four – Martley CC (Monday 11th August – Friday 15th August)
- Theme: All-Stars & Dynamos (Softball) + Metro Bank One-Day Cup (Hardball) – The softball section of the camp will be themed around the All-Stars & Dynamos National Programmes, with its popular drills and games. The Hardball section will continue with the One-Day Cup theme, as the Rapids continue their campaign.

Week Five: Hagley CC (Monday 18th August – Friday 22nd August)
- Theme: The Hundred – With the competition reaching the business end, participants will put their skills to the test in a range of Countdown Cricket format games in build-up to Birmingham Phoenix’s home match versus Welsh Fire on the Friday. More merchandise will be available as prizes.

Week Six: New Road (Tuesday 26th August – Friday 29th August)
- Theme: England Lions – White-Ball Skills and Games looking ahead to Saturday’s England Lions vs South Africa 50-Over Match at Visit Worcestershire New Road. Participants will also do the Guard of Honour for the Worcestershire vs Surrey fixture on the Tuesday and a tour of the ground at points throughout the week.
