Become a Community Champion with Worcestershire Cricket Foundation

What are Community Champions?

Community Champions are volunteers who provide invaluable support at Worcestershire Cricket Foundation events and initiatives, helping to create welcoming, inclusive, and engaging experiences for people of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you’re officiating, welcoming visitors, or helping events run smoothly, your contribution will play a vital role in growing the game and strengthening community connections.

What You’ll Receive

As a Community Champion, you’ll be supported and rewarded with:

  • Complimentary enrolment on a First Aid course
  • Exclusive WCF volunteer t-shirt
  • A ticket to the WCF Hospitality Day at Worcestershire County Cricket Club (WCCC)

Volunteer Opportunities

There are a wide range of exciting events where you can get involved:

  • Street Sixes
  • MEGA Fest
  • All Stars Skills Blast
  • Super 1s Celebration of Cricket
  • Walking Cricket National Festival
  • Walkers & Talkers
  • Meet & Greet at WCCC T20 games

Commitment

Our Community Champion volunteers are asked to commit to providing support at a minimum of three events, including:

  • Two WCF events
  • One WCCC event (maximum)

This flexible structure allows you to get involved while fitting around your schedule.

Limited Spaces Available

We are currently recruiting up to 10 volunteers for this programme, so we encourage you to apply early to secure your place.
