Worcestershire Cricket Foundation welcomed 60 people along to Visit Worcestershire New Road for a Christmas Special Walkers & Talkers event on Monday 15th December.
The day saw a lovely winter walk down the river, followed by a delicious Christmas dinner with all the trimmings and then a fascinating talk with Worcestershire CCC Chief Executive and England 2005 Ashes Winner, Ashley Giles. Ashley gave us some great insights into his life and cricketing career.
It was a great way to end Walkers and Talkers for the year. These free events are held monthly at New Road and are open to all. It’s an opportunity to connect with like-minded people and a chance to listen to some great interesting talks.
