Worcestershire Cricket Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Women’s and Girls’ Cricket Coach to join our team and help grow participation in cricket across Worcestershire and Dudley.
About the Role
As our Women’s and Girls’ Cricket Coach, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality cricket and multi-sport opportunities within schools, communities and local settings. Your focus will be on creating fun, inclusive and engaging sessions that encourage participants to develop new skills, build confidence and develop a lifelong love of sport.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference through sport and wants to help inspire the next generation of female cricketers.
Whether delivering introductory sessions to young people trying cricket for the first time, supporting school programmes, or helping participants progress within the game, you will ensure every session provides a positive and memorable experience.
Job Details
Job Title: Women’s and Girls’ Cricket Coach
Contract: Full Time, 35 Hours per Week
Salary: £23,133 per annum
Location: Worcestershire Cricket Foundation Head Office, New Road, Worcester, with daily delivery of sessions throughout Worcestershire and Dudley as required by the Schools Development Manager.
Reporting to: Schools Development Manager
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, including some evening and occasional weekend work. Flexible working and job share arrangements will be considered.

What You’ll Be Doing
As Women’s and Girls’ Cricket Coach, you will:
- Deliver engaging cricket and multi-sport sessions in schools and community settings.
- Support the growth of women’s and girls’ cricket across Worcestershire and Dudley.
- Create safe, inclusive and welcoming environments where participants can thrive.
- Inspire confidence, teamwork and personal development through sport.
- Build positive relationships with schools, participants, clubs and community partners.
- Help participants develop their skills and progress within cricket pathways.
- Act as a positive ambassador for Worcestershire Cricket Foundation and the wider game.
