Try Women’s Walking Cricket at Our Free Pilot Taster Session

Worcestershire Cricket Foundation are inviting women of all ages and abilities to take part in a free Women’s Walking Cricket pilot taster session at Halesowen Cricket Club.

Taking place on Sunday 26th July, from 2:30pm to 3:30pm, the session offers a fantastic opportunity to experience a more accessible version of cricket in a relaxed, friendly environment.

As the name suggests, Walking Cricket is played with a softball and entirely at walking pace, making it an inclusive format that can be enjoyed by people of all abilities. Whether you’re returning to cricket after a break, have found injuries have made traditional cricket more difficult, or are completely new to the game, Walking Cricket provides a fun and supportive way to get active.

The pilot session is designed to introduce women to the format and gauge interest in future opportunities. No previous cricket experience is required, and everyone is welcome to come along and give it a try!

All equipment will be provided, so all you need to bring is comfortable clothing, suitable footwear, and a bottle of water.
