What is Street Sixes?
What is Street Sixes?
In short, it’s fast-paced, six-a-side street cricket played right in the heart of Worcester. But it’s also a team-building day, a charity fundraiser and a whole lot of fun.
The event is open to companies across the region. You get a squad together – up to 10 players – sign in on the day and take to the street for a friendly but competitive afternoon of cricket.
It’s ideal for businesses who want to give their staff a day out with something more active, memorable and totally unique.
Why we do it
Yes, it’s cricket. Yes, it’s competitive. But the real goal of Worcester Street Sixes is community. It’s about bringing people together – from different industries, backgrounds and corners of the county – all playing the same game, in the same place, for the same cause.
The event also helps raise funds for the Worcestershire Cricket Foundation, so every run, wicket and six supports our work across inclusion, wellbeing and youth development through cricket.
What you get from it
Aside from a few brilliant memories – and probably some sore muscles – teams that take part in Worcester Street Sixes walk away with:
- Stronger workplace connections
- A chance to try something different
- A moment to reset, recharge and just enjoy being a team

I have enjoyed sports more than ever!
Before cricket I wasn’t very active, focusing more on gaming. But since coming to Street Cricket, where Nick and Jamie have helped me improve my batting, bowling and fielding. I have enjoyed sports more than ever and it has even encouraged me to take up other sports too and be more active.
