Executive Director Billy Clark will be leaving Worcestershire Cricket Foundation (WCF) at the end of November to take up another opportunity, with current Head of Participation & Growth Harry Kitchen appointed as his successor following a recruitment process.
During Billy’s time at the Foundation, he has overseen the creation of the 2025-2028 Strategic Plan, which will be launched at the 2025 Cricket Collective Awards next Thursday.
Billy Clark stated: “It’s been a real pleasure to work with the team at the Worcestershire Cricket Foundation over the past year. I’m proud of what we’ve managed to achieve together, especially putting our new four-year strategy in place — it was a genuine team effort.
“I wasn’t looking to move on, but an unexpected opportunity came up that I couldn’t really say no to. However, I feel the Foundation is in great shape, and with Harry Kitchen stepping in, it’s in very safe hands. Harry is an excellent and experienced operator with a real passion for developing Cricket in Worcestershire so I’m delighted to see him take the reins. I’m grateful to everyone I’ve worked with and will look back on my time here with a lot of fondness.”
Harry steps into the role of Executive Director after ten years at the Foundation. He first started as the Wicketz Development Officer, before moving into the Schools Manager post and then his current position of Head of Participation & Growth.
Harry Kitchen said: “I am excited to step into the role of Executive Director. Across my ten years at the Foundation, I have seen it develop and I am ready to continue this as we implement our new strategy. I want to thank the staff for their continued hard work and support as we move forward on this journey together.”
Co-Chairs Sally Glarvey and Phoebe Dawson commented: “On behalf of the board, we would like extend our sincere thanks to Billy for his exceptional hard work and unwavering commitment throughout his tenure as Executive Director. His dedication has been invaluable to our organisation.
“We are absolutely delighted to confirm the progression of Harry to the role of Executive Director. This marks an exciting new chapter for the Foundation and we look forward to future success and growth under his experienced leadership.”
