Clubs affiliating with Worcestershire Cricket Foundation are now supported through an updated process that promotes higher standards in governance, safety, and inclusion. Designed to strengthen both clubs and the wider game, this approach focuses on building sustainable, well-run environments where cricket can thrive. To support clubs through the process, the ECB Club Affiliation Toolkit provides a range of practical guides, templates, and checklists to help you understand the requirements, adopt best practice, and confidently complete your affiliation.

General Conduct Regulations
Worcestershire Cricket Foundation adopts the General Conduct Regulations, and any disciplinary matters under its jurisdiction will be run using the processes contained within the GCR’s. For clarification the version used will be the most up to date version that is live at the time.

General Conduct Regulations Process Maps
The WCF Discipline Team is headed up by Alex Woods (Clubs & Leagues Manager). All discipline reports should be directed to Alex, alex.woods@worcestershirecricketfoundation.co.uk, in the first instance and will be dealt with under the General Conduct Regulations.
Club Affiliation packages
Worcestershire Cricket Foundation (WCF) offers four different affiliation packages:
– Gold
– Silver
– Bronze
– Secondary
Bronze, Silver and Gold Affiliation packages are for clubs whose geographical location sits within Worcestershire and Dudley County boundaries.
The tier of affiliation is based on the number of different playing offers available at the club (Open-Age Mixed, Junior/National Programmes, Women & Girls’ Cricket).
The Secondary Affiliation package is for clubs who enter the Worcestershire County League and/or WCF Club Competitions, but whose geographical location sits outside of the Worcestershire and Dudley County boundaries.
ECB Accredited Club Status
Clubs looking to be officially recognised for their commitment to good governance, can do so by achieving ECB Accredited Club Status. Accreditation showcases a club’s dedication to governance, inclusivity, and development, ensuring a high-quality environment for all participants.

Chloe was a great role model
The lessons delivered by Chloe were very good, they were engaging and varied – the students loved them. It is always to positive getting girls into Cricket, Chloe was a great role model for this and made sure the sessions were all inclusive. Thank you for some great lessons and leadership sessions!
