DESCRIPTION:Walking Cricket gives the opportunity for all people to play the game that is more accessible than other current formats. \nAs the name suggests\, the game is played at walking pace. Walking Cricket delivers cricket skills to players of all ages and abilities. This format provides an exciting way to keep fit and active for those may not have played for a while\, those whose injuries may have stopped them playing\, or for completely new players to the game. \nSessions are low cost\, and all equipment is provided. Simply turn up in comfortable clothing\, bring a bottle of water\, and play. \nYour first session is FREE so there’s really no reason not to give it a go! \nHopefully see you at Stourbridge Cricket Club! SUMMARY:Countdown Cricket Festival
DESCRIPTION:Countdown Cricket \nJoin us on the outfield at New Road for our Countdown Festival! \nMatches follow the Countdown Cricket (aka Dynamos) format\, albiet with slight changes to the team size and match length. The format is a fast-paced\, accessible version and mirrors what is played at school competitions and Dynamos sessions. So it’s familiar across settings for new players picking up the game.Matches are 8-a-side\, 40 balls and played with a soft windball\, with teams playing a minimum of four games at the festival.
